Zurab Pataradze participates in the International Scientific Conference
Zurab Pataradze, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara, along with Mikheil Sarjveladze, the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia, participated in the International Scientific Conference: Sports Medicine for Athletes' Health and Achievements.
Irakli Medzmariashvili, the Deputy Minister of Sports of Georgia, opened the event. Zurab Pataradze, Mikheil Sarjveladze, and the heads of the committees of the parliament addressed the audience.
The Chairman of the Government of Ajara said that this kind of international forum contributes to sharing professional experience, developing young professionals, and strengthening the sports sphere. As he noted, Ajara has the potential to host important regional and international sports events.
As part of the conference, modern technologies of sports medicine and rehabilitation and innovative rehabilitation systems were exhibited. The scientific conference will provide practical training and retraining for more than 80 coaches and specialists from Ajara, as well as more than 60 students and academic staff from Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
Batumi is hosting the international forum for the third time. Representatives of the world's leading universities and clinics are participating in the event, as well as the doctors of the Olympic teams, scientists, and sports medicine sphere representatives.
