Zurab Pataradze meets with the heads of the Batumi Municipality City Hall and members of the City Council

The Chairman of the Government of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, met with the heads of the Batumi Municipality City Hall, heads of departments and members of the Batumi Municipality City Council.

The Chairman of the Government heard information about the ongoing social and infrastructure projects in the city. Zurab Pataradze emphasised the importance of implementing all projects according to citizens' interests and suited to their specific demands.

‘We were given the opportunity to discuss the City Hall's ongoing projects. We talked about social, structural, and planned rehabilitation strategies. Our top objective is to build infrastructure and provide good living circumstances for our citizens. All streets and districts should be in good order, with adequate infrastructure, and actively prepared for the tourist season.

I'm delighted that City Council personnel are actively involved in the processes. We also scheduled collaborative meetings with citizens to discuss and resolve their wants and problems in a timely way. One of the top priorities of the Ajara Government, the municipality, and all other parties concerned is to address the issues highlighted by the population. We will do everything to make tomorrow even more successful for our population and region,’ Zurab Pataradze stated.

During the introductory meeting, it was noted that close and coordinated cooperation between the Ajara government and Batumi municipality is of particular importance in the city's development process.
