Zurab Pataradze Meets with Local Residents and Herders on Mount Lodidziri in Khulo Municipality

The Chairman of the Government of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, met with local residents and seasonal herders on Mount Lodidziri in the Khulo Municipality. During the visit, the Chairman engaged with the community to discuss their needs and feedback, emphasizing key priorities for future development. Following the discussion, he joined municipal leaders and deputies to inspect ongoing construction and rehabilitation works on the local power transmission network.

During the meeting, Zurab Pataradze underscored that empowering high-mountainous regions and ensuring decent living standards for every family remain unwavering government priorities. The Chairman stressed the critical importance of fostering an economically favorable environment to encourage youth to return to their home municipalities. He also outlined upcoming initiatives designed to boost the tourism potential of mountainous Ajara and stimulate the local economy.

Additionally, Zurab Pataradze reviewed the progress of the power transmission line rehabilitation project on Mount Lodidziri. The project entails constructing a new 0.4 kV power line spanning 7,830 meters. This initiative will replace outdated, depreciated infrastructure and wooden poles with modern, durable metal supports. The upgrade features entirely renewed cables and wiring, an advanced grounding system, and comprehensive safety measures to ensure robust network operations.

Upon completion, the project will guarantee a stable and safe power supply for the Lodidziri pastures, significantly improving living conditions for seasonal mountain residents and supporting the sustainable development of the region.

The site inspection and project briefing were attended by Member of the Parliament of Georgia Anzor Bolkvadze, Member of the Supreme Council Lasha Sirabidze, Mayor of Khulo Municipality Vakhtang Beridze, and other local government representatives.
