Zurab Pataradze meets with heads and employees of Khvelvachauri municipality city hall and city council
Zurab Pataradze, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara met with heads and employees of Khvelvachauri municipality city hall and city council.
The meeting focused on the progress and challenges in implementing ongoing social and infrastructure projects within the municipality. Key issues affecting the local population were addressed. The Chairman of the Government emphasized the municipality’s development prospects, highlighting Khelvachauri as a vital area for transit, economic growth, and tourism.
‘The prosperity, development, and strength of Khelvachauri are dependent on the effort and professionalism of each employee of the local self-government. It is particularly necessary to continue the bypass road project, which will connect Eastern and Western Georgia. The development of the middle corridor is one of our government's top goals, as Georgia's transit potential is critical to the country's economic development.
With sensible and proper policies, we can maintain peace, stability, and economic progress. Our objectives are to enhance cargo turnover, produce renewable energy, build new logistics facilities, and modernise infrastructure. In this process, Khelvachauri plays an important role in the development of both business and investment, as well as tourism.
Along with economic progress, it is critical to care for people and provide them with adequate living conditions. More jobs must be created in the municipality so that young people and our compatriots can connect their future with their country’, noted the chairman at the meeting.
