Zurab Pataradze Inspects Progress of Medical Infrastructure Projects in Batumi
Large-scale medical infrastructure projects are actively underway in Batumi.
Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Government of Ajara, together with Mikheil Sarjveladze, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, representatives of the Parliament of Georgia, and officials of the Government of Ajara, inspected the ongoing construction works on site.
According to Zurab Pataradze, the implementation of these projects will improve access to quality healthcare services and enable the population to receive medical care that meets international standards.
As part of the project, the Emergency Coordination and Emergency Management Center and the No. 1 Multifunctional Polyclinic are being constructed, while the Batumi Republican Clinical Hospital is undergoing expansion.
Construction of the structural framework of the Emergency Coordination Center and Polyclinic buildings has already been completed. Work is currently underway on the façade, interior spaces, engineering systems, fire safety systems, and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems. The structural phase of the Batumi Republican Clinical Hospital expansion project has also been completed, and black-frame works are currently in progress.
The medical complex will serve as a modern, fully accessible, and multifunctional healthcare facility tailored to the needs of both patients and medical professionals.
Malkhaz Zhorzhikashvili, Director of Georgian Medical Holding, as well as representatives of the Government and the healthcare sector, also attended the site visit.
