Zurab Pataradze Inspects Ongoing Construction Projects in the "City of Dreams"

The Chairman of the Government of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, alongside representatives from the regional legislative and executive authorities, conducted a site visit to review existing and planned infrastructure developments within the "City of Dreams" residential complex. Concurrently with the ongoing construction of residential blocks, foundation works have commenced for a new kindergarten on the territory, and a public tender has been launched to design and budget a new public school.

The upcoming kindergarten will meet modern standards, offering fully accessible facilities for 300 children. Currently, the foundation works are complete, and preparatory procedures are underway to install first-floor slabs. The comprehensive project also features extensive yard landscaping, children’s play areas, and modern garden fixtures. Valued at over 6 million GEL, the kindergarten is slated for completion in July 2027.

Additionally, a tender was recently announced for the design and budgeting documentation of a new public school within the same development. The project outlines a fully accessible, three-story facility built to accommodate 1,500 students. It will be equipped with specialized learning spaces, advanced laboratories, sports zones, a library, and an assembly hall. The school grounds will be fully fenced, landscaped, and will include an open-air sports field alongside dedicated green spaces.

During his visit, Zurab Pataradze also reviewed progress on the second phase of the "City of Dreams" residential construction. Reinforced concrete structural works are now complete across the buildings, with workers currently installing roofing, facades, engineering networks, interior finishes, doors, and windows. While 582 families received apartments during the project's first phase, the current stage involves the construction of three 8-story and six 13-story residential blocks, which will deliver a total of 1,077 new apartments.

The site inspection was also attended by Member of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Beridze, Members of the Supreme Council of Ajara Ramaz Jincharadze and Mindia Diasamidze, the leadership of Batumi and Khelvachauri municipalities, and other local government officials.
