Zurab Pataradze Inspects Infrastructure Projects and Meets with Local Residents in Keda Municipality
The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, conducted a site visit in Keda Municipality to inspect ongoing infrastructural developments and hold discussions with local residents.
Accompanied by the Mayor of Keda Municipality, Mamuka Turmanidze, the Chairman assessed the comprehensive rehabilitation works at the local Cultural Centre, as well as the ongoing construction of a retaining wall on Davit Aghmashenebeli Street.
The Cultural Centre project comprises a complete interior and exterior renovation of the facility. Once completed, the modernized building will serve as a multifunctional space, housing an art school, a public library, and a dedicated cultural center. The facility will feature an auditorium with a seating capacity of up to 300 spectators, fully equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. This enhanced infrastructure aims to provide local youth with optimal opportunities to cultivate their creative skills and showcase their talents. The project is scheduled for completion within the current calendar year.
Furthermore, the Chairman inspected the engineering works on Davit Aghmashenebeli Street, where a new retaining wall is being constructed to secure the area. The scope of the project also encompasses extensive landscaping and beautification of the surrounding territory. These works are expected to be finalized by the end of the year.
During the regional visit, Zurab Pataradze also held a public meeting with local citizens at the Fridon Khalvashi Central Park in the town of Keda. The Chairman engaged in an open dialogue regarding community needs, ongoing municipal infrastructure projects, and strategic opportunities for Keda’s socio-economic development. The discussion focused heavily on improving the welfare of the local population, empowering the youth, and expanding access to cultural and educational spaces.
The inspection was also attended by the Chairman of the Keda Municipality City Council, Amiran Tsintsadze, alongside other representatives of the local government.
