Zurab Pataradze holds meetings at the Khulo Municipality City Hall and City Council
The Chairman of the Government of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, met with the heads of the Khulo Municipality City Hall and City Council, heads of departments, and members of the city council.
The Chairman of the Government spoke about the projects planned in the municipality and the visions for the development of mountainous Ajara. According to him, the main priority remains the creation of a proper environment and appropriate conditions for the population, and increasing the tourism potential.
'I attended meetings in my beloved Khulo Municipality. We discussed the municipality's development goals and future plans. I feel that the development of mountainous Ajara will enhance our region and country. Creating adequate living circumstances for people was, is, and will continue to be our top concern, and in this process, active participation of local self-government - City Hall, City Council, and complete coordination for the common cause - is particularly crucial.
Along with major infrastructure projects, the main priority remains to strengthen the mountain's tourism potential. The development of the Goderdzi Pass, which is the pearl of mountainous Ajara, is especially important. As a resort planned under the General Plan, it is the first in Georgia and it is necessary to protect its development parameters in order to increase tourist activity in all four seasons and create additional opportunities for the local population,’ said the Chairman of the Government of Ajara.
