Zurab Pataradze Congratulates the Muslim Community on Kurban Bayram
Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Government of Ajara, congratulated the Muslim community on the holiday of Kurban Bayram.
Tsotne Ananidze, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara; Giorgi Tsintsadze, Mayor of Batumi; and representatives of the Government accompanied the Chairman.
Zurab Pataradze noted that the holiday symbolizes charity, solidarity, and mutual support, values that further strengthen the centuries-old friendship and mutual respect in the region.
‘Today, together with the Muslim community, our sisters and brothers, we celebrate the holiday of Kurban Bayram. This holiday is based on charity, love, solidarity, and the values that have always distinguished our country and region.
The unity existing within our society is especially noteworthy. This was clearly demonstrated following the passing of the Patriarch of Georgia, when our Muslim brothers and sisters shared our grief and refrained from celebrating Ramadan Bayram. This once again proves that our strength lies in mutual support, respect, and solidarity,’ said Zurab Pataradze.
The festive prayer was held at the Batumi Central Mosque.
