Zurab Pataradze Attends the Public Festival in Kobuleti Municipality

The traditional public festival "Chakvistavoba" was celebrated with official festivities in Kobuleti Municipality. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze; the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara, Tsotne Ananidze; Member of the Parliament of Georgia, Zaal Mikeladze; the Mayor of Kobuleti, Irakli Tsetskhladze; alongside other high-ranking representatives from the executive, legislative, and local self-government bodies of Ajara.

The Head of the Government of Ajara, accompanied by his spouse, Sopio Bakuridze, extended his congratulations to the local residents. In his address, Zurab Pataradze emphasized that upgrading infrastructure, unlocking new economic opportunities, and empowering the local population remain paramount priorities for the development of the region's mountainous areas.

"This is a distinctive celebration that unites residents not only from this valley but from across the entire region. It is highly significant that mountainous Ajara continues to attract a growing number of visitors year after year. Our ultimate goal is to sustain intensive infrastructure development, create new opportunities, and empower local citizens so that more families settle permanently in our highlands. Mtirala National Park stands as a true treasure of our region, and the projects implemented here lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of our mountainous territories," stated Zurab Pataradze.

As part of the official program, an award ceremony was held to honor distinguished residents of the Chakvistavi community. The Head of Government presented a Certificate of Honor to Shakro Gorjeladze, an outstanding local farmer recognized for his contributions to the citrus and beekeeping sectors.
