Zurab Pataradze attends the International Conference ‘Innovations in Forensic Science IFS – 2026’

Zurab Pataradze, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara attended the iternatioanal conference ‘Innovations in Forensic Science IFS – 2026’ organized by LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau.  

Giorgi Murvanidze, the head of Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau opened the conference.  

Zurab Pataradze also addressed the conference participants and noted that such international events will promote the sharing of experience, deepening professional ties, and the development of the field.

‘International conference of Forensic Science is being held in Georgia for the first time. Delegates and experts from different countries are participating in it. They will have a great opportunity to discuss important issues for two days. This will further increase reliability and effectiveness of forensic science.    

Number of important infrastructural and investment projects are being implemented in Ajara and Georgia for which effective and highly qualified forensic has a crucial importance. I am confident that right communication will enable us to manage process safely and effectively and reach appropriate conclusions in a timely manner, so that even more projects are implemented. Consequently, there will be more success in the region,’ said Zurab Pataradze.  

As part of the conference, the chairman toured the exhibition of the newest technologies and innovative equipments presented by the world’s leading forensic and laboratory equipment companies.

The conference is being held in Georgia for the first time. It brings together more than 170 delegates including 55 representatives from different countries - leading specialists, scientists, representatives of academic circles and international organizations.
