Zurab Pataradze Approved as Chairman of the Government of Ajara
Supreme Council of Ajara approved Zurab Pataradze as Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara with 13 votes. The composition of the Government of Ajara was also approved.
During the plenary session, the candidate for Chairman of the Government presented his vision and key priorities for the development of the region. Zurab Pataradze outlined plans and initiatives across several sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, social policy, education, culture, tourism, and agriculture.
‘From this moment, we assume great responsibility to the people, to my native Ajara, and to every resident of the region. Starting today, together with our team, we will begin active work to deliver tangible results for our population and our country, within our capabilities. As you heard in my presentation, we have outlined a number of key projects, and I am confident that, through joint efforts, we will achieve meaningful progress for the benefit of our region,’ said Zurab Pataradze.
The newly approved Chairman of the Government expressed his gratitude to the President of Georgia, the Prime Minister, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara, members of the legislative body, and Bidzina Ivanishvili, Honorary Chairman of the Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia, for their trust. He noted that through active cooperation it will be possible to implement a number of important initiatives for both the country and the region.
