Zurab Pataradze and Givi Mikanaze review educational infrastructure at St. Matthew the Apostle Gymnasium
The Chairman of the Government of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, alongside the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze, have completed a joint visit to the St. Matthew the Apostle Gymnasium to inspect its educational infrastructure.
During the visit, Metropolitan Dimitri of Batumi and Lazeti briefed the delegation on the institution's current academic operations, strategic future plans, and long-term development vision.
The Chairman welcomed the high standards of the facilities, noting that the modern and supportive environment at the gymnasium plays a key role in fostering both the spiritual development of young people and the promotion of national values.
Discussions also centered on potential avenues for the future expansion and enhancement of the site's educational capacity.
Established in 2022, the St. Matthew the Apostle Gymnasium currently educates approximately 120 students. The boarding complex features dedicated academic and creative spaces including a mosaic workshop and diverse youth development facilities, alongside monastic grounds.
