traditional folk festival "Shuamtoba” celebrated in Beshumi

The traditional folk festival "Shuamtoba" was celebrated in Beshumi. Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Government of Ajara attended the event together with Mikheil Kavelashvili, President of Georgia; Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime-Minister of Georgia; and Tsotne Ananidze, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara.  

Zurab Pataradze addressed the society. In his speech, the Chairman of the Government highlighted the ongoing infrastructure projects in mountainous Ajara and the opportunities that will contribute to the economic development of the highlands.

As part of the event, honorable citizens of Khulo Municipality were awarded. A variety of cultural, sporting, and entertainment events took place throughout the day.  

Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia; Geka Geladze, Head of State Security Service, government officials and clergy attended the event.
