Tourist Season opened with the Summer Festival in Batumi

Zurab Pataradze, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara, joined the Summer Festival with his family. The festival was organized as part of the season-opening events.

Tsotne Ananidze, the chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara; members of the parliament of Georgia and the Supreme Council of Ajara; the mayor of Batumi; and the representatives of the government of Ajara attended the festival.

The chairman congratulated the tourists and the guests on opening the summer season and toured the exhibition spaces.

The festival was organized near the Alphabet Tower. The territory was decorated with sea and summer-themed installations. Handmade items were exhibited and sold where over 150 entrepreneurs displayed their products. More than 10 cafes and lounges are operating. Spaces for children are also arranged, where animators are entertaining the children. Visitors can enjoy the festival and the show program for two days.

The first day of the festival was closed with the concert featuring the local and invited musical bands.
