Tourism Awards Ceremony “Magnolia 2025” Held in Batumi
The Tourism Awards Ceremony “Magnolia 2025” was held in Batumi, bringing together leading representatives of the tourism sector. As part of the event, the best tourism service providers of the year were identified.
Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of Ajara, attended the ceremony. Addressing the audience, he noted that through close cooperation between the government and the private sector, Ajara is successfully positioning itself on the global tourism map.
‘The Ajara Tourism Awards Ceremony is a symbol of quality, professionalism, and achievement in the tourism sector. It is noteworthy that the Autonomous Republic of Ajara continues to strengthen its position on the global tourism map. This progress has been made possible through close cooperation between the public and private sectors. Your daily work plays a vital role in making our region an attractive destination for visitors. I would like to thank the Department of Tourism and Resorts for organizing this important event, as well as each participant for their commitment to quality and hospitality. I am confident that, through joint and focused efforts, we will further strengthen the region’s tourism potential and establish tourism as a key driver of economic growth, contributing to employment, prosperity, and the international positioning of our country,’ said Sulkhan Tamazashvili.
As part of the event, winners were announced across 10 nominations, recognizing outstanding accommodation and catering facilities, guides, and travel agencies based on high levels of trust and evaluation from tourists and industry professionals. Honorary tourism workers were also awarded, and certificates of appreciation were presented for their significant contribution to the development and promotion of tourism.
The event was organized by the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara and aims to promote the tourism sector and improve service quality in the region.
Members of the Government, representatives of the tourism sector, and other invited guests attended the ceremony.
