The City's Main Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Batumi's main Christmas tree was ceremonially lit in Europe Square. The occasion was attended by Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Ajara Government, and his family.

Batumi Mayor Giorgi Tsintsadze, joined by children, lit the city's major Christmas tree.

Today, a New Year's Village with festive decorations and exhibits opened in Europe Square, showcasing entrepreneurial and gastronomic spaces. A range of children's entertainment activities, shows, and concerts including both local and invited performers are scheduled.

Batumi will celebrate the New Year with a festive gala concert, which will conclude with a Christmas concert on January 7.

Other municipalities in Ajara host New Year's celebrations as well. Today, the main Christmas tree was ceremoniously lit in Khulo and Shuakhevi. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Keda, Khelvachauri, and Kobuleti is scheduled for December 22.
