The Chairman of the Government of Ajara meets with the Israeli Ambassador

Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of Ajara, met with Walid Abu Haya, Israel's newly appointed Ambassador to Georgia. The Chairman of the Government congratulated the Ambassador on the beginning of his diplomatic mission and wished him success in his future endeavours.

At the meeting, the parties reviewed ongoing regional projects, the opportunities for developing economic and investment links, and the formation of tourism partnerships.

Giorgi Zhgenti, Head of MASHAV, the Israeli International Cooperation Development Agency in Georgia, attended the meeting. The group examined opportunities for future collaboration in education, professional development, innovation, and regional development.
