The Chairman of the Government of Ajara meets with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia

Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara, met with Ashot Smbatyan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia.

The strategic alliance between the two nations, which opens up new potential for both states, was the main topic of the discussion. 

It was noted that there is a growing dynamic of cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Armenia in the trade, economic and cultural spheres.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili gave the ambassador an overview of Ajara's tourism potential during the meeting, pointing out that the area is a major tourist destination.
