The Chairman of Ajara meets with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Discuss Strategic Partnership

Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the Chairman of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara held a meeting with Faig Guliev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia and Fuad Azizov, the Consul in Batumi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, with a focus on deepening bilateral cooperation.

The Chairman Tamazashvili also gave an overview of our region’s tourism potential and ongoing infrastructure projects.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of enhancing communication in key areas such as culture, humanitarian affairs, economy, and education.
