Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, together with Revaz Sokhadze, Minister of Infrastructure of Georgia, inspected ongoing educational infrastructure projects financed by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili noted that educational infrastructure projects are actively progressing across Ajara, creating new opportunities for young people.

‘We continue to actively implement educational infrastructure projects, including rehabilitation works. New educational spaces will create new opportunities in our region and serve as a foundation for building a strong country,’ said Sulkhan Tamazashvili.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili and Revaz Sokhadze also visited two kindergartens currently undergoing rehabilitation. The projects envisage the creation of modern, child-centered environments, with dedicated learning and play spaces, as well as upgraded heating and water supply systems.

The Chairman of the Government and the Minister also inspected rehabilitation works at Public School No. 5. The school, designed to accommodate 810 students, will be renovated in line with international standards.

The Head of the Government of Ajara Administration, the Minister of Education and Sports of Ajara, and the Mayor of Batumi also attended the site visit and reviewed the progress of the projects.
