Sulkhan Tamazashvili visits a newly rehabilitated School in Khelvachauri
Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara visited the public school of the village Erge to review the completed rehabilitation works.
Within the project, the school designed for 500 students has been fully rehabilitated. Classrooms, library, gyms, inside and outside spaces, computer classes and other school spaces have been renewed. The surrounding area was arranged, and the roof and facade have been changed.
The school has provided an adequate environment for inclusive education, and the building has been fully converted to accommodate people with special needs. The overall cost of the rehabilitation works was 4 million GEL.
The Chairman of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara inspected the completed works together with Maia Khajishvili, the Minister of Education and Sports of Ajara.
The representatives of the Government of Ajara, the Supreme Council of Ajara and the Mayor of Khelvachauri Municipality also visited the renovated school.
