Sulkhan Tamazashvili pays tribute to the memory of those who died in the Batumi tragedy

Four years have passed since the Batumi tragedy. Today, a memorial service was held at the St. Barbara Church to commemorate the souls of those who died in the tragedy.

Chairman of the Government of Ajara Sulkhan Tamazashvili attended the service and paid tribute to the memory of the deceased.

The service was attended by family members of the deceased, Acting Mayor of Batumi Giorgi Tsintsadze, members of the Government of Ajara and the Supreme Council.

On October 8, 2021, a residential building collapsed on May 26 Street, killing 9 people, including three children.
