Sulkhan Tamazashvili pays Tribute to Fallen Heroes of Georgia’s Independence
Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who died in the fight for Georgia's independence and laid a wreath at the memorial.
105 years have passed since the soviet occupation. Giorgi Tsintsadze, the mayor of Batumi; representatives of the Government of Ajara and the Supreme Council of Ajara and the Head of the Ajara Division of the Regional Management Department for the State Service of Veterans Affairs in Georgia honored the memory of the heroes at the Square of the fallen fighters for the unity of Georgia.
February 25 was declared the Day of Soviet Occupation by a resolution of the Georgian Parliament.
