Sulkhan Tamazashvili opens a Newly Rehabilitated School in Khulo
Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of Ajara, and Maia Khajishvili, Minister of Education and Sports of Ajara, visited the newly rehabilitated school in the village Khikhadziri, Khulo Municipality.
Sulkhan Tamazashvili inspected the renovated educational infrastructure and congratulated both teachers and students on the start of the new academic year.
The Chairman emphasized the need of providing every student with equitable access to modern educational infrastructure in each municipality of Ajara.
Sergo Jaiani Public School is designed for 150 students. As part of thorough rehabilitation, both the inside and outside of the building was reconstructed. In addition to the instructional rooms, the school also has science and computer laboratories, indoor and outdoor sports fields, library, doctor's office, resource center, and other relevant spaces. The school is adapted for people with disabilities. The cost of rehabilitation works amounted to 1,808,000 GEL.
