Sulkhan Tamazashvili meets with the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Georgia

Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of Ajara, met with Ilhom Abdurakhmon, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan accredited to Georgia (residing in Azerbaijan).

During the introductory meeting, the parties discussed prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation. The Chairman of the Government of Ajara introduced the Ambassador to the region’s investment environment and ongoing projects.

The discussions focused on opportunities to expand trade and economic relations, as well as cooperation in the fields of tourism, education, and culture.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili congratulated the Ambassador and the people of Tajikistan on the country’s Independence Day and emphasized the importance of strengthening friendly ties between the two nations.

The meeting was also attended by Tengiz Kokoladze, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ajara and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti.
