Sulkhan Tamazashvili meets with Chagatai Ulker, General Manager of Eksim Holding Ltd Adjara Energy-2007

Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara, met with Chagatai Ulker, General Manager of Eksim Holding Ltd Adjara Energy-2007.

The sides emphasized the importance of integrating renewable energy sources into the energy system. It was also noted that expanding Ajara’s energy sector would create new jobs and contribute to the region’s economic development.

Eksim Holding’s activities include the construction of hydroelectric power plants and the generation of electricity. Adjara Energy-2007 has operated and managed the Kirnati and Khelvachauri 1 hydroelectric power projects in the region since 2010. The company has already invested more than $200 million USD.
