The public holiday Shuamtoba was celebrated in the Zortikeli Mountains. The Chairman of the Government of Ajara, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, congratulated the locals and guests on the holiday.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili noted that the government's plan is aimed at developing the mountainous Ajara, increasing its tourism potential and improving its socio-economic situation.

As the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, I promise you that the mountain people, the population of mountainous Ajara, will have my maximum support. It is of utmost importance that the population remains in the mountains. That is why our plans are aimed at the development of mountainous Ajara, increasing its tourist potential and improving its socio-economic situation. I sincerely appreciate your selfless work. Your role in the development of the region is special,’ said Sulkhan Tamazashvili.

Along with the Chairman of the Government, members of the Ajara Government also attended the public holiday.
