Sulkhan Tamazashvili attends the National Teachers Awards Ceremony
Sulkhan Tamazashvili, The Chairman of the Government of Ajara, attended the National Teacher Award Ceremony.
The occasion was also attended by Mikheil Kavelashvili, the President of Georgia; Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister of Georgia and Shalva Papuashvili, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia.
Givi Mikanadze, The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, awarded the winner teachers.
This year, ten distinguished teachers received the honor, including two representatives from Ajara—Magdana Matitashvili, a teacher at Public School N16 in Batumi and Teimuraz Davitadze, a Shuakhevi Public School teacher.
The event was also attended by Maia Khajishvili, Ajara's Minister of Education and Sport, and Davit Gabaidze, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara, as well as leaders from the executive and legislative of government and other invited guests.
