Sulkhan Tamazashvili attends the concert held by Students of St. Matthew the Apostle Gymnasium

Students of St. Matthew the Apostle Gymnasium held a New Year's concert for the beneficiaries of Batumi Saint Catherine's Monastery of Virtues.

Sulkhtan Tamazashvili, chairman of the Government of Ajara attended the event together with Metropolitan Dimitri.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili congratulated the participants and organizers on Christmas and New Year and noted that this kind of initiative is important to develop a sense of solidarity and empathy in children. According to him, with Metropolitan Dimitri, he will be involved in the very important project that involves expanding the Virtue Sanctuary and improving the living environment for beneficiaries.

The spouse of the chairman, Tamar Narimanidze; the Mayor of Batumi Giorgi Tsintsadze and the representatives of the government of Ajara attended the concert.

The Chairman also visited the Saint Panteleimon the Healer Kindergarten and wished the children and teachers a Happy New Year.
