Sulkhan Tamazashvili Attends Premiere at Batumi Drama Theatre

The 147th theatre season at the Batumi Drama Theatre opened with a premiere. Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of Ajara, attended the event together with his spouse.

On the Day of the Restoration of the Georgian Theatre, the troupe of the Batumi Drama Theatre presented a performance based on Davit Kldiashvili’s play “Darispan’s Troubles.” The production offered the audience a renewed interpretation of a distinguished work of classical Georgian dramaturgy.

Members of the Government of Ajara, the Mayor of Batumi, and representatives of local self-government also attended the premiere.
