Sulkhan Tamazashvili attended the public celebration Maretoba

Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara, attended the public celebration Maretoba.

The Chairman addressed the local people and congratulated them.

Members of the Georgian Parliament, the Supreme Council of Ajara, and the Mayor of Shuakhevi attended the event.

The title of Honored Mareteli was given to the distinguished Mareti residents.

Honors were given to educators, outstanding young people and other distinguished individuals.

The  cultural and athletic activities were held during the event, including an exhibition of traditional photos of Mareti.

The Chairman also honored the memorial for the heroes who died for the unity of Georgia.
