Rehabilitation of two schools and construction of a kindergarten in Kobuleti municipality completed
Several major educational infrastructure projects have been implemented in the Kobuleti municipality.
Public schools in Achkvistavi and Jikhanjuri have been completely renovated, while a new kindergarten with contemporary amenities has been established in Gvara.
Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the Chairman of the Ajara Government, was briefed on the progress made. According to him, the development and repair of educational infrastructure in the region has become systematic, and this trend will continue apace.
The new kindergarten in the village of Gvara will accommodate 105 youngsters. The project's framework includes modern infrastructure, children's attractions, and a sandbox. The facility is totally accessible to people with impairments.
The Village Jikhanjuri Public School, meant for 400 students, has been completely renovated. Classrooms, a gym, a library, laboratory rooms, an assembly hall, and other facilities have all been refurbished.
The educational process has also resumed at the Atchkvistavi Village Public School, which is designed for 250 students. Rehabilitation works have been carried out on the building, the territory has been arranged and the facade has been covered with facade tiles. The second stage of the project includes the comprehensive refurbishment of the sports and assembly halls.
The work completed with Sulkhan Tamazashvili was reviewed by the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Davit Gabaidze; Minister of Education and Sports, Maia Khajishvili; Acting Mayor of Kobuleti, Irakli Tsetskhladze, and members of Georgia's Parliament, the Supreme Council, and the Ajara Government.
