New Modern Police Infrastructure in Kobuleti and Keda

The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, alongside the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara, Tsotne Ananidze, and Member of the Parliament of Georgia, Anzor Bolkvadze, attended the official opening of state-of-the-art police buildings in the Kobuleti and Keda municipalities. Representatives of local government bodies were also in attendance.

Accompanied by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, First Deputy Minister Roni Meskhi, and Deputy Minister Gaga Kirkitadze, the heads of the regional government and supreme council inspected the newly developed infrastructure. The officials extended their gratitude to the law enforcement personnel for their dedicated service and wished them success in their upgraded working environment.

The newly constructed facilities feature cutting-edge equipment, specialized workspaces for detectives and investigators, secure evidence storage rooms, and dedicated rest and dining areas for staff. Furthermore, the buildings are fully accessible, meeting all standards for individuals with disabilities. 

The Keda District Police Department facility is built to accommodate up to 40 personnel, while the new Khutsubani Police building under the Kobuleti District Police Department is designed for 24 law enforcement officers.

"Effective cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and our joint contributions to regional development serve as the foundation for the security and well-being of our citizens," stated the Chairman of the Government of Ajara. "I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Minister for executing these vital projects. The opening of these modern police stations in Keda and Khutsubani underscores our shared priority: ensuring a safe and secure environment that fosters equal development across every municipality in Georgia and the Ajara region."
