Groundbreaking Ceremony for the First Skyscraper of Ambassadori Island Batumi was held

Ambassadori Island Batumi officially held the groundbreaking and foundation capsule-laying ceremony for its first landmark skyscraper, the ‘First Tower.’

Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister of Goergia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Tornike Keburia, the Founder of the Company participated in foundation capsule-laying ceremony. 

Sulkhan Tamazashvili stated in his address that the Autonomous Republic of Ajara is an essential focus of the country's economic development.

‘Today, the Autonomous Republic of Ajara is one of the important centers of Georgia’s economic development having interesting and very attractive investment environment. Ambassadori Island project, which is a critical investment in the region's future development is a notable illustration of this. It is worth noting that the project's implementation is already underway. A new, high-standard multifunctional center will be built on the Black Sea shore, combining residential, business, and recreational spaces,’ – Sulkhan Tamazashvili said.  

The first skyscraper, representing development and progress, will be finished in 2029. It will help to position Batumi and Georgia on the global investment and tourism map.

Government officials were introduced to the multifunctional complex project and toured the island, where the $200 million USD investment project is set to commence.
