Day of the Seafarer celebrated in Batumi

Ajara is home to the bulk of Georgian sailors, and their contributions are critical to the region's strength and prosperity.

We continue to support the region's maritime sector, most notably through maritime education. Many years of expertise have produced a generation of sailors who now work for major worldwide maritime enterprises.

It is a source of pride because Georgian sailors are renowned globally for their expertise and bravery.
