Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara Meets with the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia
Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, met with Giorgi Jincharadze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.
The parties discussed prospects for deepening and strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two governments. Special attention was paid to support programmes for internally displaced persons (IDPs). It was noted that the implementation of joint projects in the fields of healthcare and social protection, education, culture, and youth affairs, as well as the sharing of experience, is particularly important.
‘Implementing joint programmes aimed at the socio-economic integration of IDP families living in our region and addressing their specific needs remain among the Government’s key priorities. Through joint efforts and close coordination, I am confident that this support will become even more effective. This was once again confirmed by the important issues discussed during today’s meeting,’ said Zurab Pataradze.
Giorgi Jincharadze wished Zurab Pataradze success in his new position. According to Zurab Pataradze, close cooperation between the two regions will continue in the future as well.
