Chairman of the Government of Ajara Inspects Infrastructure Projects in Khulo Municipality and Engages with Local Population

Infrastructure development initiatives are actively underway across the Khulo Municipality, specifically within the Ghorjomi Gorge and the village of Didachara. The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, personally inspected the progress of these ongoing works and held interactive meetings with the local residents.

 

During his dialogue with the community, the Chairman emphasized that accelerating regional infrastructure and tourism development, alongside generating sustainable employment opportunities for the local populace, remains a paramount priority of the government's strategic agenda.

 

In the Ghorjomi Gorge, large-scale infrastructural development is moving forward to foster the growth of equestrian tourism. The comprehensive project encompasses the construction of an outdoor arena, an indoor stable, a centralized administrative hub, and environmentally integrated circular equestrian trails. Spanning one hectare, the outdoor arena is designed to accommodate both amateur and professional horse riders.

 

Furthermore, Mr. Pataradze evaluated the ongoing enhancement works at the administrative center of Didachara village. The scope of this project includes the installation of a World War II memorial, a public spring, a retaining wall, paving stones, and a modern outdoor lighting system. Similar administrative center upgrades are slated for the villages of Riketi and Agari later this year, aiming to modernize rural infrastructure and foster a comfortable living environment for residents.

 

The site inspections in Ghorjomi and Didachara were also attended by Member of the Parliament of Georgia, Anzor Bolkvadze; Member of the Supreme Council of Ajara, Minur Paksadze; Mayor of Khulo Municipality, Vakhtang Beridze; and the Chairman of the Sakrebulo, Renar Bolkvadze.
