Chairman of the Government of Ajara Holds Working Meeting at Goderdzi Resort and Inspects Ongoing Infrastructure Projects
The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing infrastructure developments at the Goderdzi resort. During the visit, the Chairman held a working meeting with Fridon Papidze, Director of the Goderdzi Resort, and members of the staff to discuss strategic plans for the resort's future development
The meeting focused on upgrading road infrastructure and ensuring efficient, continuous snow removal during the winter season. These measures aim to guarantee safe, uninterrupted mobility for visitors and boost tourist flows across all four seasons. Additionally, officials emphasized the critical importance of ensuring seamless access to high-quality healthcare services directly at the resort
The Chairman also reviewed the progress of a major infrastructure project implemented by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Ajara. This initiative features the construction of an exhibition and market space, open and enclosed parking facilities, a specialized hangar for snow-clearing machinery, and a parking lot accommodating up to 80 vehicles. Structures designated for the exhibition market have already been installed on-site, which will house a pharmacy, a grocery market, fast-food outlets, and ski rental services. Work on the parking zones is moving forward on schedule and is slated for completion in August of this year.
The working meeting was also attended by Ednar Nataridze, Minister of Finance and Economy of Ajara; Anzor Bolkvadze, Member of the Parliament of Georgia; Minur Paksadze, Member of the Supreme Council of Ajara; Nadim Vasadze, Deputy Mayor of Khulo Municipality; and Renar Bolkvadze, Chairman of the Khulo Municipality City Council.
