Chairman of the Government of Ajara, along with representatives from the executive and legislative branches, attends the opening of the Festival "Chveneburebi" in Bursa

Concert of “Chveneburebi” was held as part of the International Folklore Festival of Georgian Culture in Bursa, the Republic of Turkiey.

Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Government of Ajara attended the concert together with Eliso Bokvadze, Minister of Culture of Ajara.

According to Zurab pataradze, the festival shows the role of Georgian Diaspora in maintaining Georgian culture and traditions as well as further strengthening strategic partnership between our countries.

The "Chveneburebi" Folklore Festival has been held since 2001, organized by the Federation of Marmara Caucasian-Georgian Associations. This year, the festival was dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of Anzor Erkomaishvili, an outstanding figure in Georgian folklore. The gala concert featured performances by the Adjara State Ensemble "Arsiani" and the Batumi State Choreographic Ensemble "Batumi", as well as the folklore ensemble "Rirashi" and the choreographic ensemble "Chveneburebi".

Archil Kalandia, Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Türkiye; members of the Parliament of Georgia and the Supreme Council of Ajara; representatives of the Governments of Ajara and Abkhazia; and representatives of Marmara Caucasian Georgian Association also attended the concert.
