The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, held an official meeting with the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Farhad Abdullayev.
 
During the meeting, the sides underscored the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of further deepening bilateral cooperation across various frameworks. It was noted that the multifaceted relationship between the two nations spans key sectors, including culture, tourism, and the economy.
 
Zurab Pataradze highlighted that Ajara, as a vital region of Georgia and a strategic gateway to the Black Sea, attaches utmost importance to strengthening ties with Azerbaijan. In this regard, particular emphasis was placed on the development of sister-city relations.
 
The meeting, hosted at the Administration of the Government of Ajara, was attended by Head of the Administration Jaba Surmanidze, Head of the Government Administration Gocha Jashi, and Mayor of Batumi Giorgi Tsintsadze. The Azerbaijani delegation included the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Batumi, Fuad Azizov, alongside the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan, Anar Babayev, and Judge Rashid Rzayev.
