Chairman of the Government of Adjara Holds Meeting with the UAE Ambassador to Georgia
The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Zurab Pataradze, held an official meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Georgia, H.E. Ahmed Alnuaimi.
During the meeting, the parties engaged in a comprehensive discussion regarding the prospects of deepening bilateral economic relations and further expanding strategic investment opportunities. The dignitaries highly commended the growing dynamics of cooperation between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates, emphasizing Georgia's emerging role as an increasingly vital regional partner for the UAE.
The Chairman of the Government elaborated on the extensive tourism and investment potential of the Ajara region. According to Zurab Pataradze, a primary objective of the regional government remains the further consolidation of Batumi's position as an international hub for tourism and business. To this end, he expressed firm readiness to develop innovative frameworks for collaboration with UAE-based tourism companies and the private sector, proposing the organization of joint business forums, high-level tourism events, and targeted B2B networking sessions.
Special emphasis was placed on the rising interest of UAE investors in the Georgian market, with a particular focus on the diverse resource capacity and favorable business climate of Ajara. Concluding the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening long-term cooperation across various sectors, highlighting the strategic development of the Black Sea potential and the ongoing advancement of the Middle Corridor initiative.
