Batumi's Dream City being in its second phase of building

The second stage of development of the Dream City by the Government of Ajara, with the assistance of the Government of Georgia, is actively underway. Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the Chairman of the Ajara Government, visited the place to inspect the infrastructure works on site.

According to Sulkhan Tamazashvili, one of the government's top priority is to improve the region's socioeconomic position.

The second stage will include the construction of nine multi-apartment residential structures, with 1077 households receiving units. The new apartments will be well-furnished and properly equipped with gas and sewage systems. In addition to residential buildings, educational and recreational facilities will be built on the site. The project will be completed within the first half of 2028.

Three 12-story residential buildings were constructed on the site as part of the first stage of the Dream City project, and 582 families were granted apartments.

Social housing construction is also happening in Ajara's other municipalities. By 2028, the ongoing developments will be completed, and over 2,000 families will have well-equipped flats.

Along with the Chairman of the Ajara Government, the Acting Mayor of Batumi, Giorgi Tsintsadze, and members of the Ajara Government were briefed on the status of the works.
