90 Eco-Migrant Families Receive Well-Furnished Apartments in Khelvachauri Municipality
90 eco-migrant families in the village of Kapreshumi, Khelvachauri Municipality, were given well-furnished, modern apartments.
The Chairman of the Government congratulated the eco-migrant families on their new, good housing. In his speech, the Chairman of the Government discussed the region's ongoing and planned social projects, noting that by 2028, once the projects are completed, more than 2,000 families will have fully furnished flats.
‘The creation of social housing is not a one-time project. We currently have various ongoing and planned projects. In particular, the infrastructure for communal homes is being actively organised in Batumi, Khelvachauri, and Kobuleti municipalities. In 2026, we also intend to construct a social house in Keda. We will continue to develop the region with a responsible, principled, and citizen-oriented policy,’ stated Sulkhan Tamazashvili.
The Chairman of the Government, along with the Mayor of Khelvachauri, Zaza Diasamidze, ceremonially handed over the keys to the new residence to the Bolkvadze family.
Representatives from the Ajara Government and local self-government attended the occasion.
