14 Individuals Awarded for Distinguished Service in Ajara
Outstanding individuals from the region were awarded the highest honours of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara for their exceptional contributions to various fields and their dedicated public service.
Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of Ajara, addressed the audience at the award ceremony. He noted that the region’s achievements are the result of strong teamwork, well-planned policies, and the responsible efforts of each employee.
‘Today’s event is, on the one hand, a summary of the work accomplished, and on the other, an expression of gratitude to those who have made a special contribution to the development of our region and various sectors. Our achievements, aimed at meeting the needs of citizens, are the result of a strong team, effective policy planning, and the dedicated work of each employee. Your work goes beyond professional duty – it reflects daily selfless commitment. I am confident that the coming year will be even more productive, and that, through joint efforts, we will implement many projects focused on the needs of the population. Thank you once again for your contribution,’ said Sulkhan Tamazashvili.
The Orders of Tbel Abuseridze (I, II and III degrees), the Medal of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, and honorary titles were awarded to 14 individuals for their significant contribution to the development of the region and the country. The awards were presented by Sulkhan Tamazashvili and Davit Gabaidze.
Mamia Paghava, Revaz Chelebadze, Zviad Bolkvadze, Mikheil Bajelidze, Jumber Ungiadze, Guram Papunidze, and Davit Katamadze were awarded the Orders of Tbel Abuseridze (I, II and III degrees), while Marina Rukhadze, Gia Khabazi, Guram Turashvili, Avtandil Abuladze, Mamuka Putkaradze, Teona Lortkipanidze, and Marine Jakhutashvili received the Medal and honorary titles of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara.
The event was attended by representatives of the government, local self-government, and members of the Supreme Council.
