On June 24, 2016, the Letter of Intent on the Establishment of Sister Province Relationship between Ajara Autonomous Republic (Georgia) and Jiangxi Province (People’s Republic of China) was signed in Batumi.

Under the Agreement, the Parties will:

• carry out exchanges and cooperation in all sectors to promote common prosperity and development;
• establish mutual visit mechanism and regular contacts and look for negotiations of exchanges and cooperation.
